Some shows remained off last week in connection with the Memorial Day holiday in the United States. Of last week’s repeats, I want to call out the June 4th Late Late Show repeat. It was originally aired in March, and featured Chiwetel Ejiofor, who directed, acted, and wrote the screenplay for The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind. It is based on the memoir of William Kamkwamba, then a young boy who developed a turbine for his village in order to fight off famine.
On the original episode front, I point to the June 7th edition of Live with Kelly and Ryan. One of their guests was the 2019 MATHCOUNTS winner, Daniel Mai. Also of note was the June 3rd edition of Conan. Silicon Valley star Thomas Middleditch was on promoting a film, but there was discussion of the show, in which he plays a tech startup executive in said valley.
