Neil deGrasse Tyson featured prominently last week. He appeared on the October 7 edition of The Late Show, the October 8 episode of The View, the October 9 Wendy Williams Show, and the October 10 edition of The Late Late Show. In some of these interviews (which are to promote the astrophysicist’s latest book) the recent sexual harassment allegations against Tyson were discussed.
In other bookings last week, we have the first appearance from A Little Late with Lilly Singh. Natalie Portman appeared on the October 8 episode. She plays an astronaut in her latest film.
There are a couple of Daily Show segments I wish to pass along that I missed when they originally aired. The same night that Edward Snowden appeared (September 19), Ronny Chieng did a piece on new technology for bars as part of his recurring segment Today’s Future Now. On September 25th, the show covered the technology cautious aspects of UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s speech to the U.N. General Assembly and followed it up with the latest robot news.
