Late Night Science and Technology Update – The Daily Show Looks At What We Drink

I wanted to point out last night’s (April 19) edition of The Daily Show.  While the episode didn’t have a theme as such, water was prominent in two segments.

First, correspondent Hasan Minhaj visited a town in Texas that is dealing with contaminated water.  And Marc Edwards sat down with Trevor Noah.  Edwards is a professor at Virginia Tech and was one of several scientists who drew attention to the problems Flint, Michigan continues to have with its water.

In Monday’s post I neglected to mention the premiere date of the HBO film of The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks.  You can watch it on the pay cable network starting Saturday April 22.
