Science and Technology Guests on Late Night, Week of April 17

First and foremost, Bill Nye Saves The World arrives on Netflix this Friday.

The other big news of the week is that promotion is starting for the film version of The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks.  Oprah Winfrey, who plays Lacks’ daughter Deborah, will be on The Talk today (Monday).  Rose Byrne, who portrays the book’s author, Rebecca Skloot, is on Live with Kelly Wednesday morning and on The Late Show Wednesday night. Renee Elise Goldsberry, who plays Henrietta, is on The Late Show Friday.

In other listings, Kumail Nanjiani of Silicon Valley is on tonight’s (Monday’s) edition of The Late Late Show.  And there is a repeat of note, as Scarlett Johansson’s recent appearance on Late Night is airing again Thursday night.  She was promoting her film Ghost in the Shell, in which she plays a cyborg.
