With the Thanksgiving (American) holiday this week, many programs will be in repeats for at least part, if not all, of the week (there’s an excellent chance that new programs on Thursday and Friday were taped in advance). It will offer the opportunity to play a bit of catch up. Tonight (Monday) you can see an encore performance of Neil deGrasse Tyson, Buzzkill of Science, on The Daily Show. Tonight you can also see Reddit co-founder Alex Ohanian’s chat with Stephen Colbert from 11 days ago. If you missed Kunal Nayyar’s October appearance on The Late Show, it will repeat on Thursday (animal expert Jack Hanna is also on that program). On Friday you can see video game developer Markus Persson’s appearance with Craig Ferguson from earlier this month.
The new program of note this week is Wednesday’s edition of The Tonight Show. Jay has scheduled to appear Jim Edds, a photographer. His speciality is ‘extreme’ photography and he focuses on hurricanes and their Pacific cousins, typhoons. I would expect the recent storm in the Philippines would be an emphasis in this segment.
