Stealth Science Content on The Colbert Report – EPA Edition

As I’m traveling right now, I am even less caught up on science and technology stuff as usual.  However, I did note that on Wednesday night’s edition of The Colbert Report, Stephen snuck in a little science agency goodness during coverage of the Republican debates.  He had Carol Browner, former Environmental Protection Agency Director for President Clinton and former Obama Administration adviser on the environment, on to ‘debate’ the usefulness of the EPA.  As you might expect, Colbert exploited the calls to stop the EPA for their full farcical potential.

If your looking for something a bit more light-hearted in your science-influenced entertainment, perhaps the new Three Musketeers movie could fit the bill.  From what promotional footage has been around in the U.S., it appears that there’s some high-tech 17th-century warfare to be had.
