Science and Technology Guests on Late Night, Week of February 20

A couple of notes about last week’s shows.  First, The Colbert Report shut down production last Wednesday, so the Thursday appearance of a guest on introverts was cancelled.  The show is resuming production today.  On last Monday’s edition, there was an interesting segment on a man who has developed a technology that would stop circular saws should flesh get in the way.  It’s the latest in the recurring segment People Who Are Destroying America.

On to this week’s guests.  Tonight oceanographer Jean-Michel Cousteau returns to visit with Craig Ferguson.  Also tonight, Jack Hanna will come with his animals to see David Letterman.  Wednesday is the big night this week.  The Rocket City Rednecks (engineers in Alabama) return to The Tonight Show.  Nathan Myhrvold, former Chief Technology Officer of Microsft, will visit Jimmy Kimmel (possibly to discuss the epic cookbook he helped put together).  Alan Alda will be on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.  While he’s probably scheduled to promote the DVD release of Tower Heist, he could end up talking about his play about Marie Curie.
